Your Job:
- Translate manual biofunctionalization methods of our flexMEA biosensors into an automated process using a state-of-the-art micro-pipetting robot to ensure cross-contamination resistant multi-target sensor chips.
- Streamline workflow to efficiently functionalize multiple flexMEA chips in a single run.
- Optimize flexMEA chip design to improve the performance efficiency of our in-house portable electronic measuring device.
- Integrate new features into the flexMEA chip architecture such as temperature sensor.
- Support the characterization of the optimized flexMEA biosensor through electrochemical (CV, DPV, EIS) and mechanical testing.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in the field of biomedical/electrical engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, or similar.
- Previous experience in electrochemistry preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electronics is a plus.
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with new concepts/methods.
- Well-structured and systematic research approach.
- Interest in the research area of biosensors and automation.
- High degree of independence and motivation.
- Statistical, analytical, and conscientious working style.
