As a scientist, you will support our team in this project for 4D analysis and operando synchrotron/neutron (4D) tomography investigations.
Your Tasks
- You will use modern 2D/3D/4D analysis and evaluation methods with special 3D software using machine learning tools such as neural networks.
- You will perform quantitative analyses on existing large amounts of operando 4D tomographic data and improve the evaluation algorithms in close collaboration with other experts.
- You will use 4D operando X-ray/synchrotron as well as neutron tomography techniques to study batteries and other material systems.
- You will work in an interdisciplinary team with several other research groups in Germany.
Your Profile
- Completed studies in physics or comparable
- Very good knowledge of synchrotron and neutrontomography techniques and applications on battery systems
- Expert knowledge of 3D measurement and evaluation methods, esepcially in the use of AI techniques
