The Department of Quantum Technologies is looking for a PhD Student (f/m/d) Spectroscopy of telecom quantum emitters in SiC (subject to final approval by the project sponsor).

Your tasks

  • Planning and execution of experiments on confocal microscopy of quantum emitters
  • Analysis and modelling of the experimental data
  • Carrying out literature research
  • Publication and presentation of scientific results

Your profile

  • Completed university studies (Master/Diploma) in Physics, Engineering Physics or a related subject area obtained with above-average qualifications
  • Good skills in experimental physics
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to work in an interdisciplinary environment
  • Written and spoken English
  • Python and/or Labview programming skills
