Helsing is a defence AI company. Our mission is to protect our democracies. We aim to achieve technological leadership, so that open societies can continue to make sovereign decisions and control their ethical standards.

As democracies, we believe we have a special responsibility to be thoughtful about the development and deployment of powerful technologies like AI. We take this responsibility seriously.

We are an ambitious and committed team of engineers, AI specialists and customer-facing programme managers. We are looking for mission-driven people to join our European teams, and apply their skills to solve the most complex and impactful problems. We embrace an open and transparent culture that welcomes healthy debates on the use of technology in defence, its benefits, and its ethical implications.

The role

As Lead Talent Acquisition Partner, you will own end-to-end recruiting delivery across a portfolio spanning GTM, hardware, production, and non-engineering functions including security, data, IT, and product. Working in close partnership with hiring managers and the Talent team, you will translate hiring plans into structured, high-quality search processes. Your primary measure of success over the next year will be attracting, evaluating, and placing exceptional candidates across key business units, ensuring each hire advances Helsing's mission. This is a hands‑on role that demands rigour, credible stakeholder relationships, and a genuine commitment to raising the standard of hiring quality as Helsing scales.

The day-to-day

  • Own end-to-end hiring delivery for a defined portfolio of roles, partnering with business leaders to design and execute structured processes
  • Shape programmatic talent acquisition initiatives, including market mapping, sourcing strategies, and process improvements that measurably raise hiring outcomes
  • Use data to inform search strategies, candidate experience, build stakeholder alignment, and make continuous improvements
  • Apply the company's tech stack to run efficient, rigorous search processes at scale, ensuring consistency and quality across all search processes
  • Build proactive talent pools within the German market, contributing sourcing intelligence and best practice to the broader Talent team

You should apply if you

  • Have delivered full-cycle recruiting in high-growth tech environments with a high talent bar, with experience across one or more of the following domains: hardware engineering, production engineering, production operations, manufacturing, or product
  • Have sourced and placed talent within the German market for a major proportion of your career, with fluency in market‑specific sourcing channels and a track record of building proactive pipelines rather than relying on inbound applicants
  • Communicate credibly with technical candidates and senior business leaders, with demonstrated success as talent partner in deeptech, defence, autonomous vehicles, aerospace, or robotics sectors
  • Manage a high volume of concurrent requisitions without compromising rigour, quality, or the candidate and stakeholder experience
  • Take full ownership of your pipeline including creative search techniques, talent mapping, requisition qualification with business leaders, and comfortable with high volume of outreach and screening calls

Application deadline for this role is 15th June. We will review all applications on Monday, 15th June and contact shortlisted candidates based on applications received here.

Note: We operate in an industry where women, as well as other minority groups, are systematically under‑represented. We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all the listed qualifications; ability and impact cannot be summed up in a few bullet points.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and VSOP options
  • Relocation support: up to €2,500 and 4 weeks temporary accommodation
  • Learning: €500 yearly allowance
  • Health & wellness: gym membership and mental health support (Nilo.health)
  • Social: regular company events and monthly social allowances
  • Enhanced parental leave: 22 weeks fully paid for primary caregivers and 6 weeks for secondary caregivers
  • Family support: 5 days of paid family emergency leave, 100% remote work option during pregnancy and phased return to work

These are the core benefits across all locations; there may be additional benefits in specific sites.
