Senior Infrastructure Architect & Technology Platform Manager

For our Headquarters in Lugano, we are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Architect & Technology Platform Manager Who will play a key role in shaping and evolving our technology landscape, ensuring the reliability, scalability and security of our infrastructure platforms while supporting business growth and digital transformation initiatives. Main responsibilities Own and deliver the infrastructure architecture roadmap in line with business priorities.Lead the evolution of secure, scalable and resilient hybrid cloud and on-premises platforms.Drive cloud transformation, platform optimisation, automation and Infrastructure as Code.Strengthen observability, service reliability, high availability and business continuity.Promote DevOps, Platform Engineering and IT service management best practices.Partner with stakeholders, mentor internal teams and manage technology vendors.Support cybersecurity, compliance and technology risk management in a regulated environment. What you’ll bring Experience 7+ years in enterprise infrastructure, systems administration or infrastructure engineering.Proven experience in infrastructure architecture, platform design and enterprise IT operations.A track record of leading technical teams, projects or transformation initiatives.Experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, healthcare or another regulated industry is an advantage. Technical expertise Microsoft Azure, hybrid cloud and Microsoft 365Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft Entra IDVMware and/or Hyper-V, storage, backup and disaster recoveryInfrastructure automation, Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practicesIdentity and Access Management, Microsoft Defender and cybersecurityHigh availability, resilience, business continuity and ITIL practices How you work You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, pragmatic approach.You communicate clearly and influence stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.You build strong partnerships, coach others and manage vendors effectively.You make sound decisions and continuously look for better ways of working.You are fluent in English and possess excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders in international environments.
