Description: Helvetia Versicherungen Schweiz is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Legal Counsel to join their Legal Team in Zurich. The role involves supporting the non-life insurance and reinsurance business, with a focus on Specialty Lines CH & International, Active Reinsurance, and Group Reinsurance. Key responsibilities include providing legal advice, reviewing and negotiating non-life insurance and reinsurance contracts, supporting international projects, advising on regulatory and compliance matters, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
Location: Zürich, Zürich, Schweiz
Eligibility: University law degree (Master's level or equivalent); admission as a lawyer is an advantage. 3-5 years of professional experience as Legal Counsel or lawyer, ideally in non-life insurance and/or reinsurance. International (Anglo-Saxon) experience, especially in cross-border insurance business or projects. Solid knowledge of contract law; experience in claims and reinsurance law is an advantage. Strong analytical skills, a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken; other languages are an advantage.
