Overview
In this role you will own detailed underwriting analyses for Energy accounts, evaluating risk exposures and capital needs to support sound pricing and terms. You will work to manage accumulations and natural catastrophe risks, ensuring portfolio quality. You will negotiate with brokers and clients, align decisions with Helvetia directives, and build trusted relationships across the energy market. You will collaborate with claims and cross-functional teams to deliver holistic client solutions and contribute to a dynamic, international environment.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Own detailed underwriting analyses for Energy accounts including risk engineering exposures, terms and conditions, pricing, and capacity deployment
- Assess key risk exposures, normal loss expectancies, and maximum possible loss scenarios to support underwriting decisions
- Evaluate and actively manage accumulations, including natural catastrophe exposures, with focus on portfolio quality
- Negotiate terms and conditions with brokers and clients to balance client needs with profitability
- Ensure underwriting decisions align with Helvetia Group directives and governance standards
- Build knowledge of Energy client and broker network, strengthening relationships across the market
- Represent Helvetia at national and international client and broker meetings, site inspections, and selected industry events
- Contribute to a motivated, agile, and ambitious team that values collaboration and entrepreneurial thinking
- Work closely with claims experts on large and complex claims for a holistic view of risks and client solutions
Zentrale Anforderungen
- relevant experience in Energy underwriting or hands-on expertise from the Energy industry

- sound business acumen with understanding of Energy insurance markets, trends, and client needs
