Your role

Join our international agile Product & Engineering team and take an active role in shaping our engineering culture and the future of thousands of sellers and customers worldwide. At helviX, you will have a direct impact on our product, our users, our organization, and our engineering practices.

You will work in an effective, autonomous, feature-based team, where you will get to play out your development skills in a high-impact environment. You will be responsible for the full cycle of feature development in your team (\’You build it, you run it\‘), and participate in continuously improving the backend.

Your tasks & responsibilities will include:

1. Build scalable backend systems and APIs
2. Deliver top-quality code that scales and fits our business needs
3. Participate in steering the tech stack for our software solutions
4. Architect and implement software solutions to be future-ready
5. Establish a high-quality tech culture and be proud to share it
6. Be involved in collaborations with external vendors

What you need to succeed

1. Significant professional experience, preferably in fast-growing, international SaaS companies
2. Proven experience in serverless cloud-native environments using TypeScript and NodeJS
3. A passion for API-driven development in high load, transactional environments
4. Knowledge of automated testing and when and what to test
5. Experience in CI/CD, IaC, pull/merge requests, and code reviews
6. Experience with event-driven architectures, domain-driven design, resilience patterns, and microservices (e.g., familiar with durable function paradigm)
7. Experience with document databases (like MongoDB or CosmosDB), including data migration models
8. Proactive problem solver. You leave code and processes in better shape than when you first encountered them
9. Team player: passionate about working with talented teammates. Your heart beats for receiving and giving feedback to grow both personally and as an engineer
10. Interest and passion to learn and experiment with new technologies and follow best practices in software development for agile environments
11. Experience working with or even integrating ERPs (e.g., MS Navision) is a plus
12. Strong written and spoken English skills
