About this position
Work at the global headquarters in Düsseldorf in a Corporate Governance role as part of Corporate Health team, focusing on health, preparedness and exposure protection, as well as the planning and implementation of concepts that promote a health-oriented corporate culture.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with health and safety experts from various professional backgrounds on Henkel’s global interdisciplinary health management system, including the Global SHE Governance Team, regional SHE teams, and regional (medical) health managers
- Monitor compliance with global legal requirements, reporting obligations, and governance standards
- Further develop health-related company guidance, in areas like occupational- and emergency medicine, and industrial hygiene, standards, work instructions, guidelines, tools, training programs, and key performance indicators
- Plan and coordinate annual global health campaigns
- Further develop and implement digital tools for health protection and health promotion in collaboration with Human Resources, as well as strategic projects with Safety, Health, and Environment teams
What makes you a good fit
- Completed degree in Medicine or Public Health, combined with several years of professional experience in occupational medicine, industrial hygiene, or toxicology
- Proven experience working in a global governance role at a corporate headquarter
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and emergency medical processes, risk assessments, exposure protection, and hygiene requirements
- Experience in international occupational health and safety within corporate governance structures
- Sound understanding of health governance and controlling processes, as well as standards within a global SHE management system
- Excellent verbal and written English skills; German language skills are welcome.
