About this position
What you'll do
- Manage applications within the existing portfolio and maintain documentation in accordance with internal corporate guidelines, including continuous updates, incident management, and change management
- Manage and administer servers in collaboration with Corporate IT and support database administration, including Oracle and APEX Application Server
- Analyze, manage, and further develop (geo)data for our headquarters in Düsseldorf and other locations
- Plan and execute IT projects in the areas of geoinformatics and CAFM
- Manage service providers and ensure the quality of data and processes
- Coordinate and implement the functional and strategic development of the geodata infrastructure in alignment with the site operator, central functions, and suppliers
- Evaluate alternative solutions when introducing new technologies
- Ensure the continuous development of specialized information technology and digitalization

What makes you a good fit
- University degree (Master’s degree / Diploma) in (Geo-)Informatics, Database Management, or a comparable field of study with a strong IT focus
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in database/data management and cloud environments required
- Strong intrinsic focus on quality and implementation, combined with analytical thinking skills and the ability to quickly understand complex interrelationships
- Ability to define goals and work towards achieving them in a structured and independent manner
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
