Summary
For the „Combat Vehicles“ Area, we are looking for a „Project Manager Combat Vehicles (f/m/d)“ at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible. The Area „Combat Vehicles“ is responsible for the preparation of quotations as well as for the implementation of customer projects from the design phase through development to series production. In addition, new products are defined and existing products are further developed in the context of product responsibility and product strategy.
Your Tasks
- Participation in the acquisition of projects
- Creation of concepts, specifications and offers as well as support for customers in creating system requirements
- Handling national and international projects within the agreed time, cost and performance framework
- Implementation of systematic project planning and project tracking
- Leading project teams and managing subcontractors
- Collaboration with internal and external partners and customers
- Conducting presentations within HENSOLDT and externally to customers and suppliers and preparing corresponding reports
- Deriving new products from technical possibilities, customer requirements and market developments
- Clarification of technical implementations, taking into account alternative approaches (in-house, external development, development partners, cooperation partners)
- Support in the development of product life cycles as well as suitable service and logistics concepts
- Support in the preparation of analyses of marketing alternatives and competitor products
Willingness to travel at home and abroad is a prerequisite.
Your Profile
- Completed studies in the field of optronics, industrial engineering or similar
- In-depth experience with the management and processing of highly complex and time-critical projects
- Very good experience / knowledge in leading interdisciplinary project teams
- Very good PC skills (MS Office, SAP R3)
- Mature planning skills, confident demeanor and ability to work in a team
- Established and results-oriented, structured and cooperative way of working
- In-depth knowledge of the interrelationships in the supply chain
- Very high degree of resilience and flexibility
- A past in the armed forces and / or knowledge of SPz PUMA and / or KPz LEOPARD is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of German and English
