Summary
We are looking for a “Technical Product Designer (f/m/d)” for the “Optronical Sights” development department at the Wetzlar site as soon as possible. Within the development department, various disciplines such as software, optics, electronics and mechanics are combined to develop high-quality, hand-held optronic vision systems. Our observation devices combine information from multiple sensors operating at visible and infrared wavelengths to provide the user with reliable information even under the most challenging conditions and ensure the success of their mission.
Your Tasks
- Detailing of complex assemblies based on the design draft
- Creation of standard-compliant production drawings in German and English
- Change designs on existing components and assemblies
- Material master and CAD data maintenance in SAP
- Creation of parts lists
- Modification of construction documents
- Close cooperation in interdisciplinary project teams
Your Profile
- Completed training as a technical product designer / technical draftsman or similar
- Many years of professional experience in the creation of technical drawings
- Experience in working with materials management and PLM systems, preferably SAP
- Sound knowledge in dealing with shape and position tolerances
- Sound knowledge of 3D CAD software, preferably Creo7
- Knowledge of technical optics advantageous
- Good understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
- Solution-oriented and independent way of working as well as strong communication skills and team orientation
- Very good German and good English skills
