This includes existing legacy applications and newer components. You will work on new features, technical improvements, modernization, and the reliable operation of our systems.Backend & Frontend Development: You primarily develop backend solutions in PHP and Symfony and implement smaller frontend changes where required.Legacy Application Development: You work confidently with established and legacy codebases. You analyze existing implementations, understand their business logic and dependencies, and improve them step by step while keeping our production systems stable.Incident & Problem Resolution: You analyze and resolve software errors and production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions rather than only addressing symptoms.Monitoring & Observability: You contribute to improving application monitoring and operational transparency, including error logging, error aggregation, and metrics.Solution Design: You independently contribute to the design and implementation of software solutions based on business and technical requirements and support the onboarding of new components and applications.Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification, alternatively relevant professional experience in software developmentAt least 4 years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in PHP and web application developmentExperience with Symfony or another modern PHP framework and a solid understanding of framework conceptsComfortable working with and improving existing and legacy applicationsGood knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, relational databases, and Git;
experience with Zend Framework, Laravel, React, or jQuery is a plusStructured problem-solving approach, focus on maintainable and reliable code, and very good English skills;
German is an advantageThe role is positioned within group.One and you collaborate with colleagues from different offices. Together with your small core team, you are part of a larger development team.Salary:The minimum monthly gross salary for this position is € 3.500,-- (incl. an overtime allowance of 20 hours) for 38.5 hours/week.
