Join us!The Visual Arts program at EDHEA is opening the following position: HES Teaching Master for the field of Contemporary Art History The position requires extensive knowledge in the fields of contemporary arts, cultural studies, and socio-political studies.
It mainly involves teaching (Bachelor and Master levels) as well as supervising student work (theoretical and project-based).
The person will be expected to develop research within the framework of the institute.
This position is under the direction of the head of the Visual Arts program.
Mission- You provide instruction at the Bachelor and Master levels in contemporary art history- You participate in juries and admissions for the Bachelor and Master programs- You participate in pedagogical reflections for the Bachelor and Master programs Your profile- You hold a Master's degree in Art History or an equivalent qualification.
A doctorate would be an asset- You have excellent knowledge of contemporary art, sound studies, and contemporary reflections- You have didactic and pedagogical experience- You have experience in institutional HES or university research- You are a French speaker with proficiency in English.
German and Italian would be an asset- You are capable of working in a transdisciplinary manner, in a team, and autonomously- You have excellent writing skills and strong research potential with publications Activity rate: 30% (excluding research)Workplace: Sierre Start date: September 1st or by agreement The head of the Visual Arts program will provide, upon request, all desired information regarding the job description.
