We are seeking a proactive and driven Sensor Sales Manager to join our dynamic team specializing in B-to-B sales within the security industries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales mindset and relevant industry experience, ensuring we meet our ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive business growth in the reality capture, autonomous driving, and security sectors. Identify new opportunities and create tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Industry Advocacy and Influence: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders in large accounts to advocate for the adoption and specification of innovative technologies as industry standards. Engage in targeted lobbying efforts to educate and influence decision-makers on the benefits of integrating new technologies, ensuring alignment with industry trends and requirements while positioning the organization as a thought leader in the field.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within the robotic sensor landscape. Utilize insights to inform sales strategies and product development.
- Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics. Ensure KPIs are met or exceeded, adjusting strategies as necessary to drive results.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and technical teams to align sales strategies with product offerings, ensuring a cohesive approach to market penetration.
- Travel and Networking: Willingness to travel up to 60% to meet clients, attend industry conferences, and network within target sectors both domestically and internationally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (engineering, business, etc.).
- 7-10 years of experience in B-to-B sales, in security related technologies and solutions.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented attitude.
