Job Description

The Finance team at HPE provides world-class decision support, driving profitable growth and shareholder value through operational excellence, people development, and innovation. We ensure accurate and timely financial information, meeting regulatory and fiduciary responsibilities with integrity.

As a Tax Manager , your typical day will include:

  • Preparing and filing highly complex tax returns
  • Leading and managing tax audits
  • Advising the company\’s global functions on tax matters
  • Guiding businesses on tax liabilities, compliance procedures, and communicating with senior leaders
  • Leading tax planning, research, and high-complexity projects
  • Managing company-wide tax systems documentation
  • Responding to notices and interacting with tax authorities
  • Collaborating with external tax advisors

Candidate Profile

If you are good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen, you align with our core values! You should have:

  • A first-level university degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred
  • Typically 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Advanced knowledge of income tax laws related to corporations
  • Successful completion of the SteuerberaterprĂŒfung (Tax Advisor Certificate)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, consulting, and negotiation skills
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams
  • Business fluency in German and English
