What you will accomplish:
In this position, you will be responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory for the Utilities and Communications (U&C) product line (HxGN Networks Portfolio). The HxGN NetWorks portfolio is a flexible and integration-ready geospatial asset management solution that provides a single source of accurate, up-to-date information and a full spectrum of tools for different users across the business. HxGN NetWorks is used by customers worldwide to design, build, manage, and maintain physical networks, including electric, gas, water, wastewater, multi-utility, and fibre. You will work closely with current and prospective clients to understand their business objectives and create suitable solutions to meet their needs.
This role offers a great opportunity for someone looking to take a second step in their sales career. The primary focus is managing and nurturing a large number of accounts through digital communication, with occasional travel to customer sites. Given the dynamic nature of the Utilities & Communications industries, your work can make a meaningful difference in everyday life for yourself, your colleagues, and your customers.
· Manage and nurture existing accounts in the assigned territory to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities, ensuring all customers are well taken care of. Represent Hexagon with integrity and professionalism as an ambassador of the company.
· Prospect within the territory to identify new opportunities based on challenges and solutions, articulating the Hexagon ALI value proposition and communicating competitive advantages, resources, and processes to clients and prospects.
· Collaborate closely with Hexagon teams in consulting, inside sales, pre-sales, and support to maximize revenue from customers and prospects in the territory.
Who you are:
· Interested and enthusiastic about the Utilities & Telecoms market. Familiarity with GIS and NIS terms is a plus.
· Proficient in using the corporate CRM system SalesForce. Responsible for monitoring the execution of maintenance contracts, service orders, and software orders.
· Able to discuss product capabilities and explain the business value of solutions.
· Capable of meeting sales quotas.
· A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
· Effective external communicator via phone and video meetings.
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical or business field.
· Sales experience is preferred; candidates with account development or sales development backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
· Native German speaker required, with a good understanding of English.
