pb100% Zürich /b /p pbHexagon Robotics /b is a division of Hexagon - a global leader in precision measurement. The division develops humanoid robots for industrial sectors to address labor shortages and accelerate the transition from automation to autonomy. Our first humanoid, AEON, was launched in June 2025 and is already in pilots with five customers. /p pWe are looking for a Software Engineer in Test to help develop and maintain high-quality software for our robotics software stack. /p pThis is not a traditional QA role. You will work alongside Software Engineers, Robotics Engineers, DevOps, Systems Engineers, and QA teams to build automated tests, improve test coverage, and help ensure the reliability of our robotics platform. You will gain hands-on experience across simulation, hardware testing, CI/CD, and modern test automation while contributing to the development of a next-generation humanoid robot. /p h3Your Mission /h3 ul liContribute to the SW testing and validation of Aeon, Hexagon's next-generation humanoid robot. /li liDevelop, maintain, and execute automated tests across unit, integration, simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, system, and end-to-end testing levels. /li liSupport the development and maintenance of test frameworks, automation tools, and test infrastructure. /li liWork closely with software and robotics engineers to improve software quality, reliability, and testability. /li liHelp identify, document, and track software quality metrics and test results. /li liContribute to integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines. /li liParticipate in debugging and root-cause analysis of software issues found during testing and integration. /li liSupport system integration, validation, and testing on real robotic hardware. /li liLearn and apply software testing best practices and quality engineering techniques. /li liThrive in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment developing innovative robotics technology from prototype to production. /li /ul h3Your Skillset /h3 ul liBSc or MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical discipline. /li li1-3 years of professional experience in software development, software testing, quality engineering, robotics, or a related field. /li liGood programming skills in C++ and/or Python. /li liUnderstanding of software testing fundamentals, including unit, integration, and system testing. /li liFamiliarity with test automation frameworks and methodologies. /li liUnderstanding of CI/CD concepts and modern software development practices. /li liExperience working in Linux environments. /li liInterest in robotics, autonomous systems, embedded systems, or distributed software systems. /li liExposure to ROS2, simulation environments, or robotics platforms is a plus. /li liExperience with Git and collaborative software development workflows. /li liStrong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn. /li liGood communication and teamwork skills in multidisciplinary environments. /li liISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent experience is a plus. /li /ul h3What You'll Get /h3 ul liFlexible working hours and a hybrid model for real work-life balance /li liGenerous vacation: 25-30 days depending on age /li liCHF 500 mobility credit for sustainable commuting /liliBonus system strong pension contributions /li liTailored training development opportunities /li liRelocation support for a smooth start /li liDiscounts on health, mobility entertainment /li liTeam events and a flat hierarchy where your voice counts /li liA warm, international culture built on respect and collaboration /li /ul pbGreat robots need great people. /b /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
