Do you recognize yourself in this? A stolen or missing bike? You will get it back! As our Bike Hunter you will have an amazing impact on getting back our missing bikes in Belgium. In this job you will become fully responsible for making sure we get bikes back to their rightful users. You have an analytical mind and a passion for justice. In this role you will be setting up procedures for bike surveillance and city sweeps (a.k.a. getting the bikes back). As of this year we are using trackers on our bikes. You will go to a different city with one minivan to hunt GPS tracked e-bikes. So it's up to you to oversee and improve our hunting process. This will also mean in case you needed: that you will have close contact with the police. Do you like treasure hunting and want to help find our missing bikes? Then this might be something for you!
Responsibilities
- Every day two bike hunters go to a different city with one minivan and the right tools (4 cities worth to go in BE) to hunt GPS tracked e-bikes.
- In case needed; police will be contacted for support or assistance.
- It will be a combination of scanning all bikes (city sweeps) and hunting GPS tracked bikes, including those of bad debt members > 3 months debt.
- Supports one day a week in the new key project in the Warehouse.
- Can assist with all other required WH matters by Djarno, when not busy hunting or sweeping.
Job requirements
- Secondary vocational education working or thinking level;
- In possession of a driver's license (for a minimum period of 6 months);
- Affinity with bikes and service;
- Available for at least 24 hours a week;
- Fluent in English and/or local language (French is a huge plus).
