Job Responsibilities

• Partner with client delivery lead, product owners to review requirements, associated user stories and determine a roadmap for delivery.
• Partner with Solution Architects to review and validate a solution’s feasibility; also make solution recommendations.
• Review and analyze program specifications to determine the effort needed to make changes.
• Lead the source code and data migration activities for projects identified in scope.
• Lead other individuals on the team to start a task and track progress. Ensure that testing procedures, test cases, data, and validation steps are implemented and followed correctly.
• Analyze COBOL, CICS, JCL and IMS changes required for the project and if needed, make code changes, test, and support the team to meet delivery timelines.

Skills and Experience Required

• 10+ years of experience in COBOL, CICS (conceptual understanding is fine), JCL, DB2, VSAM, IMS
• 10+ years of experience designing, programming, and architecture in a mainframe environment.
• 10+ years of experience with RMDS/EXPEDITER/File-Aid for IMS/DB2
• 5+ years of experience with the management of Technical Staff
• 3+ years of experience in AS400/iSeries
• Strong Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in Mainframe Modernization and Migration projects
• Experience in MQ and Z/OS connect integration for API services.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to establish a roadmap for operational improvement.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational and strong project management skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work well with other groups in an enterprise wide, large-scale matrix environment
• Should have Healthcare domain background and sound knowledge of Medical Claims and Adjudication process.
• Self-motivated with ability to work well with other groups in an enterprise wide, large-scale matrix environment.
• Experienced in Agile methodology and leading a Scrum team.

Desired

• 2+ years of Scrum Master experience
• 3+ years of development experience in AS400/ iSeries
• Experience in AWS services like Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB
