To support our continued growth, we are looking for an Analyst 1 to join our Frankfurt team.

Your role

As an Analyst at hillstreet, you will be directly involved in live M&A transactions and work closely with our senior bankers, clients and investors throughout the full transaction lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions from preparation through closing
• Preparing pitch books, teasers, information memoranda, management presentations and other transaction materials
• Building and reviewing financial models, valuation analyses and transaction-related financial analyses
• Conducting company, market, industry and investor research
• Identifying and evaluating potential buyers, investors and acquisition targets
• Supporting the preparation and coordination of due diligence processes and virtual data rooms
• Managing selected workstreams and day-to-day process activities with increasing independence
• Participating in client, management and investor interactions
• Contributing to business development initiatives, pitches and the continued development of hillstreet

What we are looking for

We are looking for candidates who combine strong analytical skills with curiosity, ownership and a genuine interest in M&A.

You should bring:

• Strong academic record in business, finance, economics or a related field
• Relevant internship experience in Investment Banking, M&A, Corporate Finance or Private Equity
• A strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies and corporate finance fundamentals
• Very good Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Fluency in German and English is a prerequisite, both written and spoken.
• A structured, detail-oriented and reliable way of working
• The ability to perform in a fast-paced transaction environment
• High personal standards, intellectual curiosity and a strong sense of ownership
• A collaborative mindset and the confidence to contribute your own views
