WHAT’S THE ROLE?

In this role you will be responsible for defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and design interactive PowerBI dashboards and reports to enhance business and shopfloor management across finance, production, quality, and logistics at our Hillos plant in Jena, known for producing high-end optical tools.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

• Develop and design interactive PowerBI dashboards and reports
• Transform SQL normalized data into insightful visualizations
• Collaborate with different teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective dashboards
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports
• Optimize and enhance existing PowerBI reports for better performance and usability
• Stay up-to-date with the latest PowerBI features and best practices

WHAT YOU NEED IS:

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s / Master’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field for the internship period
• Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with normalized data bases and proficiency in PowerBI, including report creation, data modeling, and DAX
• Previous experience in creating dashboards or reports
• Basic understanding about industrial shopfloor management/ KPIs (e.g. OEE, cycle time)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal
