Sr Engineer R&D PCB Design (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Creation and verification of EMC-compliant multilayer PCB designs for prototypes and series-production products
• Creation and verification of library components for PCB design
• Integration of requirements from development, test preparation, and manufacturing while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and guidelines
• Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation for our products
• Close collaboration throughout the development process with internal departments such as Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Testing, as well as external partners including suppliers, manufacturers, certification bodies, and EMC laboratories

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in PCB design and knowledge of CAD tools, preferably Cadence or Cadence Allegro
• Solid knowledge of circuit design and hardware development
• Knowledge of EMC, signal integrity, high-speed memory interfacing, and relevant standards (e.g., EN 61131-2, IPC guidelines) and their application is desirable
• Strong quality awareness and attention to detail
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
