TITLE: Technical Solution Consultant (DevOps)

CONTRACT: Full time, permanent
COMPANY: Our client is a Series A funded Start-Up that is developing a Cloud Provider that’s deeply integrated into the development workflow. Their product transforms deployment into a developer-centric self-service experience, reducing time-to-market and costs. It eliminates the wall by enabling developers to manage their own infrastructure needs. Anything can be deployed from simple front ends to multi-service production landscapes and LLMs.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The job contains both social and technical aspects. You will help hands-on in the technical realization of the customers\‘ projects on the platform. In addition, you will teach and learn from customers in interviews and workshops.
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
- Realization of the customer’s installation of the platform
- Occasionally fix small bugs in the customer\’s platform account
- Write small to medium-sized scripts to automate your work
- Integrate the platform into the customer’s CI landscape
- Setup VPN connections
- Tweak configuration files based on customer\’s needs
- Conduct technical deep-dive workshops into advanced topics
- Set up new data centres
- Arrange and attend demos, onboarding calls, or post-sales training calls with customers to teach them how to use the platform
- Share learnings from customer interactions with Product Manager, Sales, Marketing, and UX/UI team
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluent in German. Good English
- Experience or knowledge of an OOP language (personal, educational, work experience)
- Used at least 2 different web frameworks to develop production-grade web applications (e.g., Laravel, Magento, Ruby on Rails, Express, Pimcore, WordPress)
- Able to rollout changes to Kubernetes clusters in a safe way
- Understands DevOps principles and how our platform benefits users compared to other development tools
- Used a CI system before (Jenkins, Buildbot, or similar)
- Basic Linux administration using Bash
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in customer support or sales
- Experience in configuring, setting up, and administering Kubernetes clusters
