Role Overview
As the HR Lead Germany, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our HR strategy in Germany. You will work closely with senior leadership and various departments to ensure HR practices align with our values, business goals, and support employee growth and development. You will be a member of the German Leadership team, reporting to the People Director for Europe. While you won\’t have direct reports, you\’ll collaborate closely with the European HR team to achieve shared goals. We are reshaping our HR organization, and you will be an integral part of that journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership: Implement HR strategies that align with the company\’s values and drive business success.
- Advocate local HR topics: Collaborate with global HR centers and ensure execution of local HR processes.
- Talent Management: Oversee talent development and retention initiatives to meet current and future workforce needs.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive, inclusive work environment by addressing concerns and promoting open communication.
- Performance Management: Support employee development through effective performance management processes.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to German labor laws and HR best practices.
- Collaboration: Partner with department heads and leadership for HR insights and strategic support.
- HR Projects: Lead and participate in HR initiatives at European and global levels to enhance organizational effectiveness and engagement.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5-10 years in HR within an international matrix organization.
- Education: Bachelor\’s in HR, Business Administration, or related; Master\’s or HR certification is a plus.
- Skills: Strategic thinking, leadership, strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of German labor laws and HR practices.
- Language: Fluency in German and English required.
