As an Implant Maintenance Engineer/Technician, you play a vital role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and continuous improvement of our semiconductor production tool park. Your focus is on the corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance of implant equipment, working cross-functionally to drive safety, productivity, and general tool and workflow optimizations across the production line. /p h3How you’ll make an impact /h3 pEnsure maximum uptime of semiconductor production tools through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting of implant equipment /p pDrive continuous improvement in equipment performance, applying workplace safety and efficiency practices aligned with 6S methodology /p pCollaborate closely with other maintenance, process, and production teams to achieve performance goals and optimize line efficiency /p pParticipate in tool upgrades and modernization projects to enhance tool capability and reliability /p pMaintain accurate and detailed documentation of maintenance activities, equipment status, and system performance /p pSupport root-cause analysis and problem resolution for technical issues within the team /p pTrain and mentor colleagues in the areas of implant, safety, and best maintenance practices /p pPromote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, procedures and documentations /p h3Your background /h3 pHands-on experience in maintenance of semiconductor production tools /p pSolid understanding of electronics, mechanics and pneumatics /p pMinimum 3 years of experience with ion implanters (such as AMAT or Nissin or Axcelis) /p pFamiliarity with metrology tools for process control (Semilab WT-2000) /p pAdditional training or expertise in vacuum systems or related technologies /p pCompleted technical vocational training (e.g., Automation Technician, Electronics Technician, or similar field) /p pWillingness to work in shifts is a must /p pStrong team player with problem-solving mentality, organizational skills, and proficiency in English (German is a plus) /p h3More about us /h3 pHitachi Energy offers you interesting tasks in a highly motivated team and an open communication style.
