Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager and Deputy Department Head (w/m/d) for our team in Mannheim, responsible for project execution in the service business. Our team manages a wide range of high-voltage products, installed, maintained, and modernized over decades. You will work with open, solution-oriented colleagues, focusing on customer needs and mutual support. As a Project Manager, you will plan and execute various projects, maintaining regular contact with clients and internal teams to ensure success. Responsibilities
- Deputize in leading a growing team
- Manage service projects (maintenance, spare parts, service contracts, upgrades, retrofits)
- Create project schedules
- Monitor project progress
- Distribute work packages
- Manage personnel deployment
- Plan and control revenues and costs
- Prepare project documentation for reviews
- Use SAP and other tools for material flow management
- Communicate directly with clients
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a technical degree
- Experience in project management or similar fields
- Ideally, first leadership experience
- Experience in high voltage/high current areas
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana is desirable
- Proactive working style, open and communicative
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
