Internship for Enterprise Risk Management 80 – 100% (f/m/d)

The opportunity As a Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting a Hitachi Energy Enterprise Risk Manager in managing cross-organizational risk themes through-out its life cycle, coordinating with other risk functions and improving organizational resilience. How you’ll make an impact Analyze and escalate changes in the external environment to identify vulnerabilities or commercial opportunities Meet regularly with functional/business risk owners to maintain awareness of emerging risk themes and coordinate actions Plan, organize, and facilitate risk assessment campaigns Develop the ERM application within a common GRC suite for organizational alignment and fit-for-purpose design Support business/functional risk owners in developing high-level business cases for remediation or opportunity development projects Maintain ERM-related standard operating procedures, frameworks, and other instructions Provide advice and guidance during the implementation of new business processes or tools Deliver periodic training and expertise to drive ownership, build accountability, and increase awareness of ERM Your background Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business Administration, Finance or Management Prior experience in the specialist risk mitigation environment (3-5 years) Hands-on project management experience validated by respective credentials (PMP, Prince2 and/or other equivalents) Knowledge of recognized risk & resiliency frameworks (ISO family, COSO etc.) and experience with their application in corporate environment IT savvy to digitalize requirements (coding not required) Experience with leveraging data analytics and using automation for monitoring risks Strong Leadership skills and proven ability to obtain management buy-in for constructive change Strong business acumen and understanding of functional linkages and the ability to interact with senior management Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to motivate, influence and negotiate, with the ability to challenge at a senior level when necessary Excellent written and spoken English More about us Our flexible working practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow.
