In this role, you will manage secondary engineering projects (LCC local control cabinets) from handover from sales until the end of installation, including engineering and production in collaboration with primary engineering and under the leadership of the Commercial Project Manager of the GIS Project. /ph3How you'll make an impact /h3ulliLead secondary engineering projects from handover from sales, clarification of specifications, and full project management scope (scope, time, cost) /liliLead engineering activities with the extended workbench (base design and detail design) /liliDetect deviations and claims, clarify with customers, and conduct customer meetings /liliAchieve design freeze and customer approval, create production documents, and support production in feeder factories or supplier factories /liliConduct final acceptance tests with customers, support site installation and commissioning, and create as-built documents for project close-out /liliActively participate in project reporting structures such as the digital project board /liliAssist with sales and tender processes and provide support to the production line /liliContribute to development projects and improvement initiatives /li /ulh3Your background /h3ulliDegree in electrical Engineering background /liliMin. 5 years experience in engineering of secondary projects and project management /liliFinancial and technical competence for executing secondary projects according to internal guidelines /liliFluency in English is required; fluency in German and other languages is desired /liliExperience with Zuken E3 is a plus /liliIndependent, well-structured, and autonomous way of working with self-control of work and associated actions /liliResponsibility for technical and standard-compliant project execution, coordination with upstream and downstream departments, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations (ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001) /liliSolid background in managing and aligning key stakeholders /liliExperience coordinating cross-functional activities and initiatives /liliApprox. 10% travel required /li /ulh3More about us /h3pHitachi Energy is a global technology leader advancing a sustainable energy future for all.
