In this role, you will support the development and execution of customer-specific projects for Generator Circuit-Breakers used in power generation applications worldwide. Based in Zurich-Oerlikon, you will combine your electrical engineering expertise with your Mandarin Chinese language skills to support customers and business partners in China and contribute to the global energy transition. /p h3How you’ll make an impact /h3 ul liCreate customer-specific wiring and electrical schematics based on technical requirements and project specifications /li liDevelop and maintain wiring diagrams for new products and product enhancements using EPLAN P8 /li liRevise electrical documentation to reflect customer requirements, control system changes, and product developments /li liProvide technical support to suppliers involved in control cabinet manufacturing and assembly /li liMaintain and further develop component and language databases within EPLAN P8 /li liCollaborate closely with project managers, engineering teams, suppliers, and international customers /li liSupport project execution through occasional travel to customer sites and power plants, mainly in China /li liEnsure compliance with internal procedures, industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements /li /ul h3Your background /h3 ul liCompleted apprenticeship, technical diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field /li liMinimum of 2 years of professional experience in electrical design, engineering, or a comparable technical role /li liExperience with EPLAN P8 or similar ECAD software is an advantage /li liFluent in Mandarin and English; German language skills are an advantage /li liStrong attention to detail and a structured, precise way of working /li liIndependent, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset /li liTeam player with strong communication and collaboration skills /li liWillingness to travel internationally as required by projects, approximately 20% /li /ul h3More about us /h3 pHitachi Energy’s High Voltage Products business is a global leader in power transmission and distribution technologies.
