Product Line Architect – Field Elements (m/f/d) (Ref.No. R1006723)

You will enjoy having this responsibility:

As a Product Line Architect – Field Elements (m/f/d) you will take charge of creating and maintaining product requirements, architectures, and roadmaps throughout the lifecycle of the signals product line in the railway technology sector. You will ensure that technical solutions are optimally implemented and continuously developed.

It also involves the following tasks:

1. You act as the technical leader for the Product Line Signals.
2. Analyses of product needs/requirements to define the product technical solution, including architecture and technical choices.
3. Creating the technical definition, functionalities and architecture; furthermore, you oversee production and maintenance aspects of the product.
4. You define and manage all variability, commonality and reuse across the product line and throughout the product lifecycle.
5. You also will be responsible to prepare the technical part of the product plan and roadmap for the field elements.
6. You play an active role in engineering reviews, technical meetings or peer reviews during the bid or project by working closely with purchasing, suppliers, manufacturing and installation.

You have:

1. You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or science and experience in hardware engineering or in the signaling domain.
2. Experience in field element signaling solutions and field elements installation is an advantage.
3. You have well-developed writing skills to prepare effective reports, documents, etc. in a clear and concise format.
4. As a team player, you focus on your own responsibility and you have strong negotiation and communication skills; moreover, you are organized and motivated.
5. You are fluent in English, verbally and written, and you have preferable good German skills.
