Service Project/ Junior Business Controller (f/m/d)

Job Description The Opportunity As a Service Project / Junior Business Controller, you will act as a key finance partner to service operations across Switzerland and Germany. You will support financial steering across the full lifecycle - from planning and forecasting to project execution and performance analysis - while gaining hands‑on exposure to operational and project controlling in an international environment.
You will work closely with experienced controllers, project managers, and service managers, contributing to financial transparency, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities
Support financial management for Service units in Switzerland and Germany
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance analysis
Prepare and analyze financial reports, highlighting key deviations and drivers
Contribute to project controlling activities (cost tracking, margin analysis, risk monitoring)
Partner with Project and Service Managers on financial and commercial topics
Support project reviews, including identification of risks and opportunities
Ensure data quality and compliance with internal guidelines and financial standards (e.g. IFRS)
Participate in continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
First experience in controlling, finance, or similar (internships included)
Strong analytical mindset and interest in business operations
Basic knowledge of SAP (S/4HANA is a plus) and strong Excel skills
Good communication skills and willingness to learn in an international environment
Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage
