Overview
In this role, you will lead the Equipment & Packages Engineering work package within the Balance of Plant, driving on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality outcomes. You’ll manage a multidisciplinary engineering team across Mechanical, Process, and Arrangement disciplines while coordinating with suppliers and partners. The position focuses on turning waste into valuable outputs like energy and chemicals through advanced plant systems. You will shape scope, documentation, and supplier engagement in an international setting, contributing to sustainable infrastructure innovation.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Manage the Equipment & Packages Engineering work package, including Balance of Plant and Flue Gas Treatment components
- Prepare and align engineering documentation for internal and external stakeholders (purchasing, construction site, client, consortium partners, subcontractors)
- Own the deliverables for purchasing lots and engineering activities ensuring on time, on quality, on budget
- Lead an engineering team (Mechanical, Process, and Arrangement) and ensure functionality of the scope
- Negotiate with suppliers, monitor progress, plan resources, and maintain team communication across locations (Zurich and abroad)
- Achieve sub-project objectives in terms of schedule, quality, and finances
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Completed mechanical engineering degree (FH/ETH)
- 5+ years’ experience in project management
- Good mechanical & process knowledge; ideally experience in industrial plant construction
- Very good MS Office skills
- Strong negotiation skills and resilience
- Fluency in English; German or other languages is an advantage
