Overview
As Layout & Piping Project Engineering Lead, you drive the engineering delivery of complex plant layouts, coordinating across process, electrical, and civil domains to meet time, budget, and quality targets. You oversee a multi-location team, ensuring seamless data exchange with customers, partners, and suppliers. You own the technical execution of piping and valves work packages and coordinate civil, fire, and traffic aspects for the full plant. Your impact spans transforming waste into valuable outputs like energy and fertilizer through integrated layout solutions.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead layout & piping project engineering team and report to Project Engineering Manager
- Own engineering delivery to time, budget, and quality targets; address gaps and ensure interface smoothness
- Act as layout integrator and manage technical execution of piping & valves work packages
- Develop layout concepts for the complete plant across disciplines (process, electrical, construction, logistics)
- Establish information exchange framework and coordinate layout data with customers, consortium partners, and suppliers
- Coordinate civil, fire protection, traffic management, and maintenance concepts for the plant with third parties
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years’ experience in complex plant layout design
- Strong project execution background with problem-solving abilities
- Experience in steel structure design, electrical layout engineering, and civil engineering
- Proficient in E3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Autodesk Construction Cloud; solid 2D/3D CAD knowledge
- BIM methodology awareness and know-how
- Fluent in English; additional languages welcomed
