Overview
As Process Engineering Lead you drive the process engineering discipline across projects, aligning with tender concepts, policies, and HSE. You manage the Process Work Package and coordinate resources to deliver quality on time and on budget. You will lead commissioning activities and foster continuous improvement through knowledge sharing. This role sits at the heart of our waste-to-value mission, shaping how energy, heat, and chemicals are produced from waste.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead and manage the process engineering team and IGLENs through project execution
- Ensure compliance with tender concepts, company policies, and HSE requirements
- Oversee the Process Work Package, delivering quality results on schedule and within budget
- Coordinate process engineering resources, meetings, workload planning, and tool usage (e.g., COMOS)
- Facilitate cross-team communication to resolve technical and organizational issues
- Prepare and deliver process documentation, operation manuals, CE conformity docs, and B2 documentation
- Lead commissioning activities, including multidisciplinary meetings and trial operation readiness
- Drive continuous improvement via lessons learned, knowledge sharing, and training of internal staff
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree in Process, Chemical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline; proven experience leading process engineering teams
- Strong experience in plant engineering, construction, and commissioning, preferably in the energy sector
- Knowledge of Energy-from-Waste (EfW), Renewable Gas (RG), and/or Carbon Capture technologies (advantage)
- Solid understanding of process engineering workflows, plant processes, and project lifecycle deliverables
- Proven project management experience with budget control and cost awareness
- Proficiency in COMOS, CAPRI, MS Office, and other relevant engineering tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to develop standards and guidelines
- Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and stakeholder management; fluent in English; German a plus
