Overview
In this role you will own the end-to-end accounting for the Swiss entity, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness. You will act as the main accounting liaison to the Shared Service Center and drive timely closings and quality financial reporting. You’ll prepare statutory statements under Swiss CO and IFRS, coordinate audits, and strengthen internal controls. This position supports the Finance Manager Switzerland and collaborates with Controlling and Group Finance to enable compliant, high-quality decision making. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Own end-to-end accounting outcomes for the Swiss legal entity, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness
- Interface with the Shared Service Center (AP, AR, GL, T&E) and oversee accounting quality
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities aligning with Group timelines
- Review and validate GL postings, accruals, provisions, intercompany reconciliations, and financial statements
- Prepare statutory financial statements under Swiss CO, IFRS, and Group policies
- Coordinate audits with external auditors and lead remediation actions
- Maintain effective internal controls, DoA/SoD compliance, and audit documentation quality
- Act as deputy to the Finance Manager Switzerland, supporting leadership and process improvements
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Senior-level expertise in statutory accounting, IFRS, and Swiss CO
- Experience owning accounting outcomes within an SSC model
- Hands-on closings and financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Experience preparing/reviewing/statutory financial statements and managing external audits
- Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance frameworks (DoA, SoD)
- Experience in ERP-driven environments (IFS preferred)
- Structured, analytical, solution-oriented with strong ownership
