Overview
In this role you will manage the engineering and execution of complex mechanical equipment and package systems for international projects. You will coordinate cross‑functional interfaces to ensure plant integration and on‑time delivery. You will lead supplier engagement, technical issue resolution, and FAT/commissioning support, contributing to turning waste into valuable energy and products. You will work with a global team, travel 10–20%, and shape the execution of innovative waste‑to‑X solutions. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Manage engineering and execution of equipment and package systems (heat exchangers, silos, stacks, chemical supply systems)
- Prepare technical specs and RFQ docs; evaluate bids; support supplier selection
- Coordinate concept and basic engineering activities for plant integration
- Lead multidisciplinary interface management with Process, Layout, Civil, Structural, Electrical, I&C, Construction, Commissioning, and external suppliers
- Supervise supplier engineering activities; monitor procurement and documentation; resolve technical issues
- Review and approve supplier documentation for compliance with project, contractual, and regulatory requirements
- Support FATs, installation, commissioning, and resolution of non-conformities on site
- Maintain stakeholder communications and provide international project support (10–20% travel)
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant international plant engineering or EPC experience
- Proven experience in engineering, procurement and execution of complex mechanical equipment
- Experience with industrial heat exchangers; knowledge of stacks, silos, chemical systems or similar equipment an advantage
- Ability to read/interprete P&IDs
- Strong coordination, negotiation and communication with suppliers and site teams
- Structured, proactive, ownership-driven working style
- Proficient in MS Office; fluent in English; knowledge of COMOS, AutoCAD, KKS or German an advantage
