Overview
As a Steam Turbine Specialist, you will lead erection, commissioning, and operation activities for steam turbine systems on EPC projects. You’ll supervise installation, alignment, start-up, and commissioning, while supporting O&M teams and training personnel. Your root-cause analyses and corrective actions will improve ST reliability, with a focus on HSE and risk management. Collaborating with Engineering, you’ll implement improvements, produce technical reports, and help schedule project milestones. This role offers a hands-on, cross-functional environment in a global, innovative company shaping waste-to-value solutions.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Oversee steam turbine installation, alignment, start-up and commissioning on EPC projects
- Review and validate technical/tender documents for ST systems
- Support operations and maintenance teams and train personnel on ST operation
- Identify faults, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with Engineering to drive improvements and capture lessons learned
- Prepare technical reports and work plans; contribute to scheduling
- Ensure HSE compliance and manage ST-related risks and deviations
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Engineering degree with 10+ years’ hands-on steam turbine experience
- Proven site experience with erection and commissioning of steam turbines
- Strong knowledge of steam turbine technologies, control systems, and thermal plant operation
- Familiarity with major ST OEMs (Siemens, Skoda) and turbine types (condensing, back-pressure)
- Expertise in DCS, PID (R&I), vibration analysis, and rotating equipment behavior
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability for ST systems
- Fluent in English with strong communication and coordination skills
- Reliable, adaptable team player able to work independently and with suppliers
