Overview
As Tendering Layout Engineer, you drive the concept design of waste-to-energy plants during the proposal phase. You build 3D models and coordinate multi-disciplinary concepts to optimize cost-competitive layouts. You review specifications, identify risks and opportunities, and lead layout reviews. You hand over successful tenders to project execution and help codify tendering know-how for future bids. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop conceptual plant layouts during proposal phase for international WtE EPC projects
- Create 3D models and contribute to overall plant concepts (process integration, maintenance, traffic, buildings)
- Optimize plant arrangement to improve cost competitiveness and coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces
- Review contract specs, identify risks and opportunities, participate in clarification/negotiation meetings
- Lead layout reviews, issue planning drawings, provide civil input data
- Handover successful tenders to the project execution team
- Maintain tendering know-how, tools and guidelines; apply lessons learned
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5+ years in international EPC environment (energy, renewables, environmental tech, oil & gas or similar)
- Solid project execution or tendering background with knowledge in process equipment layout, steel structure, civil design and cost drivers
- Strong 2D/3D CAD modelling understanding and BIM awareness
- Experience with design software such as Aveva E3D (preferred), Navisworks, Autocad, Revit
- WtE technologies experience is a plus (combustion & boiler, FGT, WSC, BoP)
