Overview
In this role you will design and cost plant systems for international WtE EPC tenders, ensuring integration with multiple disciplines and delivering competitive offers. You will collaborate with chief engineers to produce heat/mass balances, PFDs and performance guarantees, while managing risks and tender documentation. You will drive cost-optimized engineering interfaces and hand over successful tenders to execution teams. This position blends technical depth with commercial insight in a global, collaborative environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop process design, sizing and costing for plant systems during proposal phases
- Prepare heat & mass balances, PFDs, and performance guarantees with Chief Engineers
- Optimize system integration and coordinate interfaces across disciplines
- Review contract specs, identify risks/opportunities, and participate in technical clarifications and negotiations
- Calculate budgets for engineering/procurement and assist with RFQ preparation
- Compile offer documents, deviations, BOQ, and electrical consumption lists
- Handover successful tenders to project execution
- Maintain tendering know-how, tools, templates, and implement lessons learned from projects
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5+ years in international EPC environment (energy, renewables, environmental tech, oil & gas)
- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering (Bachelor/Master)
- Solid project execution or tendering background with knowledge in process engineering and cost drivers
- Experience with WtE technologies (Combustion & Boiler, Flue Gas Treatment, Water Steam Cycle, Balance of Plant)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Autonomous, proactive, curious, flexible and team-oriented personality
- Fluent in English; other languages welcomed
