Overview In this leadership role you shape Hitachi Energy's global risk framework and governance, partnering with the CFO and CEO to drive risk-aware decisions. You will align risk strategy with business objectives, work across units to identify and manage risks, and champion a culture of integrity and continuous improvement. Your work will enable sustainable growth, profitability, and informed decision-making at the highest levels. Verantwortungsbereiche Define and continuously improve the global Risk Management framework, policies, and governance processes Lead the development and execution of the risk management strategy aligned with growth objectives Partner with Business Units and leadership to enable risk-based decision making in tendering, project execution and strategic initiatives Oversee Risk Review and Project Review processes and embed lessons learned across the organization Provide comprehensive risk reporting, insights and recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team Monitor compliance with governance requirements, risk policies, and authorization frameworks through KPIs and BI tools Drive continuous improvement of risk methodologies, tools, and practices Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Hitachi Corporate and customers Develop a competency framework for the global Risk Management community and promote a risk-aware culture Coach, mentor, and develop risk management professionals across the organization Demonstrate high standards of ethical conduct, integrity and governance Zentrale Anforderungen Master's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Law, or related field Extensive experience in Risk Management, Sales, Tendering, Project Management, Contract Management, or related disciplines Proven experience in an international, project-based business environment Deep understanding of enterprise risk management, governance frameworks, and business controls Strong commercial and financial acumen with ability to evaluate risks and opportunities across the value chain Demonstrated experience influencing senior stakeholders and executive leadership Strong knowledge of project execution, contract management, financial performance, and margin protection strategies Track record of leading organizational improvement initiatives and driving change in global environments Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage leadership communication stakeholder management enterprise risk management governance frameworks risk-based decision making
