Overview
In this role you will own the materials expertise framework across the global organization, translating standards into practical competencies and development paths. You will partner with engineering teams, factories, and the Global Material Repository to ensure consistent training, certification, and knowledge for materials engineers. The position emphasizes structured capability development and alignment with Windchill data and documentation. It offers scale and impact within TrafoSchool, shaping engineering capabilities across regions.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Define and apply a materials competency framework with the Global Material Repository (GMR) and ensure alignment with standards and manufacturing needs
- Maintain and validate competency matrices for materials experts, identifying gaps and mapping skill levels
- Align training, certifications, and documentation with Windchill as the reference for materials data
- Design and manage development paths and certification schemes across internal teams, suppliers, labs, and external providers
- Coordinate training and certification delivery, tracking completion and readiness according to TrafoSchool standards
- Monitor KPIs on competencies, training, and certification coverage, reporting gaps and improvements across HUBs and factories
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Strong background in materials engineering (qualification, insulation systems, testing, standardization, or reliability)
- Experience with factories, materials experts, laboratories, or suppliers
- Experience in skills and competence mapping or structured capability development
- Experience coordinating technical training and certification programs
- Working knowledge of PLM systems (Windchill) from a materials/documentation perspective
