Your Profile

We are looking for an individual with a completed university degree in Business Administration or a related discipline as well as the special competence for scientific work, which is normally proven by a doctorate.

Qualifications

  • Pedagogical aptitude, usually demonstrated by teaching experience.
  • Practical professional experience outside the university sector.
  • Specialised knowledge in communication and leadership techniques, including key competences, study methodology, lecture and presentation techniques, and communication management.
  • Desirable specialised knowledge in corporate communication, dialogue management, negotiation techniques, and conflict management.
  • German language skills at least level C1, English language skills required. Teaching language mainly German.
  • Relevant legal requirements: Sec 49 of the Higher Education Act of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate.

Responsibilities

Represent subject areas in teaching and applied research.

Demonstrate very good didactical skills, willingness to participate in exchange with international partner universities, offer courses in English, and possibly give lectures in related subject areas.

Integrate into the existing team professionally and personally, participate in academic self‑administration, and enjoy imparting knowledge from professional experience to students.

Intensify and expand collaborations with universities, research institutions, and companies.

Actively participate in the university’s research activities, increase third‑party funding and the number of cooperative doctorates.

Support a supervision concept that requires a high level of presence of the teaching staff on campus.

This position is available from the winter term 2025/2026 at the Zweibrücken campus of Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences at the Department of Business Administration in full time (100%).
