Your tasks
As DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering Business-to-Business (B2B) applications that are targeting the very undigitized construction sector. You will work hands-on and collaborate in an experienced DevOps team to define and execute standards and best practices for deployment, integration and operation of cloud-based applications. Long-term, you will support international development teams in creating and practicing standardized CI/CD pipelines. In addition, you will support software architects to create systems that fit our governance model and are easily maintainable and deployable.
- Create and maintain (incl. version and security updates) shared tools, services and infrastructure that support the delivery of the different products.
- Design and optimize the cloud resource and service usage.
- Create common templates, workflows and proper automations and integrate them into various products.
- Create and introduce proper tooling that supports the development, delivery and support of our products.
- Create backup and restore procedures.
- Ensure safe, reliable and continuous end-to-end delivery of our applications.
Your profile
- Degree in computer science or comparable qualification.
- Professional experience in a DevOps role.
- A passion for the latest cloud technologies.
- Proven experience in designing solutions with Microsoft Azure or other public cloud providers.
- Microsoft DevOps engineer certification is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and Helm.
- CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub and GitHub actions.
- Infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform.
- Database technology such as PostgreSQL.
- Coding skills, preferably in bash scripting.
