If you’re reading this, chances are that frontend and HTML are not for you, but backend is your area of expertise and joy, like building and maintaining highly scalable systems, comprehensive API-infrastructures, mastering complex system architectures, etc.
That’s great, because we’re inviting a Senior Backend Developer / Senior System Architect to join us here at Hölle Games!

You’ll work closely with our CTO to:

• Optimise and manage our deployment-stack, work on cutting-edge cloud auto scaling features.
• Extend our iGaming SaaS product, both in terms of functionality and scalability. Handle any DevOp tasks that land on your desk. (so you shouldn’t be afraid to get your hands dirty with these!)
• Extend our current APIs and integrate with partner APIs

Your profile should include:

• Substantial knowledge of Typescript
• Fundamental experience with databases (especially MySQL )
• Redis / RabbitMQ / Saltstack / AMQP are not unknown words for you
• Experience in scaling and deploying software

We’re not just remote-first; we’re remote-only and asynch-first – with a twist. Gear up for 3-4 one-week „workations“ each year where our entire team unites for collaboration and some fun. We’re also hiring across the CET time zone +/- 3 hours, reaching from Portugal to India and Iceland to South Africa, with a competitive salary offer. We’re still a small team and advocates of async – work your way, and without micromanagement. The salary of this role is €105.000 p.a.
