IEP Technologies is the global leader of industrial explosion protection Systems within the Business Unit Safety of the HOERBIGER Group. Join us as the European Controller for a team of 130 employees in 8 countries. In this key position you will drive financial performance and transparency, strategic planning and cross-border collaboration to strengthen our European activities.
How you will make a difference
- Key Advisor: Act as the primary financial partner for the Europe Manager and Global Controlling team.
- Regional Oversight: Lead controlling activities for IEP Germany and Atexon OY Finland.
- Data Consolidation: Manage the financial consolidation of European entities within the Business Unit Safety.
- Proactive Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely reports for European entities to support decision-making. Key drivers will be profit, cost, investment, and personnel targets.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with global controlling teams on projects, including KPI development and improvement identification.
- Planning Support: Assist European and local management in short-term planning, forecasting, and scenario analyses.
What you should be good at
- Education : A degree in business, finance, or economics, ideally with a focus on controlling or financial management.
- Experience: Proven track record in a similar role within an international environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel; familiarity with other financial tools is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, critical thinking, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Languages: Fluent in German and English.
