As part of Masergrup , we continue to drive our international growth and development. To strengthen our Finance team, we are looking for a Financial Controller who will play an active role in monitoring, controlling, and analyzing the company’s financial and economic performance. With a strong analytical and strategic mindset, this professional will support decision‑making processes and contribute to the company’s sustainable growth.
Your Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, as well as the creation of reports and business analyses
- Analyze financial KPIs and variances, and identify optimization measures
- Take responsibility for budgeting and forecasting
- Conduct pricing, margin and inventory analyses, and derive recommendations for action to optimize revenue and costs
- Build, maintain and further develop KPI dashboards
- Prepare ad hoc analyses as well as profitability and business case calculations
- Prepare product costings and analyze the profitability of different product and customer segments
- Work closely with various business units across the company to support well-founded business decisions
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Completed degree or advanced professional qualification in business administration, finance, controlling or a comparable field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in controlling, business controlling or financial planning & analysis, ideally in an operational environment
- Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cost accounting
- Very good Excel skills; experience with Power BI is an advantage
- Confident handling of large data volumes, as well as an affinity for ERP, reporting and BI systems
- Strong analytical skills, a high affinity for numbers and a good understanding of business relationships
- Entrepreneurial mindset and enjoyment in deriving concrete recommendations for action from figures
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working, as well as team spirit and initiative
- Fluent in German and English; knowledge of Spanish or is an advantage.
