The Patients' Hotel is a project in partnership with the CHUV. The first establishment of its kind in Switzerland, the Patients' Hotel in Lausanne is a concept inspired by the successful experience of Scandinavian countries. Its clientele combines passing tourists, business travellers, families of patients, as well as the patients themselves. The Patients' Hotel, 3-star superior, offers a warm and modern atmosphere in its 108 rooms. The Mill’Feuilles restaurant (85 seats) offers delicious regional cuisine with a seasonal menu, a salad and dessert buffet. A 40-seat terrace and a 24-hour open bar area complete the range of services.
Dishwasher / Kitchen Assistant
Assist in the preparation of raw materials for mise en place
Support the cooks in the preparation of hot or cold dishes
Comply with hygiene and safety standards and procedures
Ensure proper management of raw materials (no waste)
Follow established procedures (HACCP standards, machine cleaning, kitchen cleaning, FIFO, inventories, etc.)
Wash up and clean utensils, dishes, etc.
Store crockery, dishes and other utensils in cupboards or other appropriate places
Participate in the receipt and storage of goods
Manage small equipment
Your profile:
· Approximately 2 years of experience
· Proficiency in spoken, read and written French
· Good interpersonal skills and team spirit
· Rigorous and methodical
· Residence in Lausanne or very nearby region (split shifts and no parking available)
· Swiss or work permit required
