Supervisor Engine Shop Floor SR Technics Switzerland AG is a world‑leading Engine MRO service provider headquartered in Zurich. We deliver fully customized maintenance, repair and overhaul solutions for aircraft engines, airframes and components, supporting over 500 customers worldwide. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our shop floor across several areas and departments at Zurich Airport. The successful candidate will supervise a highly effective team of approximately 20–25 employees, striving for safety and quality while delivering on time and on cost expectations. The role requires coordination of the team’s work with its direct stakeholders at SR Technics, aligning with the organization’s goals and mission. Responsibilities Promote a positive safety culture and ensure that safety and quality policy are communicated, promoted and implemented within the organization. Lead and manage a multicultural team, fostering performance, engagement and a positive work environment. Drive performance culture through periodic target setting and regular structured follow‑up with all employees; apply performance management process (PMP) and leadership with a focus on employee motivation. Plan and allocate resources to ensure high productivity and monitor labor efficiency. Drive personnel development and skill management to meet capacity requirements, including on‑the‑job training, qualifications, certifications and performance evaluations. Execute and promote continuous improvements by applying Lean principles and 5S to achieve the organization’s targets and key performance indicators (KPI). Participate in, prepare for and be responsible for internal and external audits. Profile Technical background or technical education. Aviation experience is a plus. Leadership experience with strong interpersonal skills. Minimum three years of team or project leadership is preferred. Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality and cost efficiency. Proactive, independent and self‑initiated working style with high performance drive. Knowledge and experience in applying Lean/Six Sigma methodology. Proficient in English (B2+); German is an advantage. Proficiency with maintenance documentation systems. Microsoft Office required; SAP is an advantage.
