Job Description
As Head Chef, you are responsible for managing and developing the culinary production of the restaurant, in close collaboration with the F&B management. A true driving force in the kitchen, you ensure a quality, consistent and profitable offer, while ensuring an efficient organisation of your team.
You design an attractive and efficient buffet, capable of handling high attendance while ensuring a smooth experience for customers. You develop recipes that are simple, tasty and easily reproducible, adapting menus to the seasons, events, calendar and weather conditions.
On a daily basis, you manage orders, stocks, inventories and goods control. You pay attention to cost control, reducing food waste and optimising recycling practices.
As a hands-on manager, you structure workstations, support your team and actively participate in production to ensure smooth operations, especially during busy periods. You are also present on the ground, both to support your colleagues and to maintain a quality relationship with customers.
Finally, you ensure strict compliance with HACCP standards.
Profile sought
- Holder of a chef apprenticeship certificate (CFC) or equivalent training - Proven experience in team management - Experience in buffet management and large volumes: experience in collective catering or cruising is an asset - Strong skills in organisation, planning, cost and stock management - Strong results orientation and ability to thrive in a demanding environment - Ability to work at altitude and in a dynamic mountain environment - Available, flexible, stress-resistant
